Find God's Purpose for you life
#2 Uncover the Joy of You
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. -1 Peter 4:10 NIV
You are the only who can do exactly what God has planned for you. The biblical Queen Esther was an orphan, and yet she was put in the right place at the right time to save a nation. Albert Einstein had behavioral problems, dyslexia, and was a poor speller, and yet he formulated a theory of relativity.
Value what God has given you. Creating home-cooked meals that are nutritious is a gift. Balancing roles of teacher, worker, parent, grandparent, spouse, and friend is a gift. Loving those around you is the ultimate gift. You have talents and abilities that are uniquely yours. Thank God for them.
>>Look at yourself in the mirror today without finding faults and flaws. Recognize your uniqueness, and notice the difference when you smile.

#2 Get on the Floor
One laugh of a child will make the holiest day more sacred still. -Robert G. Ingersoll
To share God's love, Jesus connected with people where they lived, worked, and played, whether at a wedding reception, by the village well, or around the dinner table. To better connect with your children, follow Jesus' example.
Venture into your children's world. Sit on the floor. Play in the sandbox. Chat with your children eye to eye. Although getting up off the floor may not be as easy as it was when you were your children's age, getting down to their level is an excellent way to rediscover the joy of imaginative play and to get better acquainted with the unique individuals God has created them to be.
>>Make a habit of getting down on the floor at least once a day, engaging yourself in whatever your children are interested in at the time.
